Judy Dench ("M" from James Bond flicks) Feb. 10 in Miami D A/C. Pretty certain it was her, but I didn't try to speak to her. Was escorted in by an AA "suit" guy.

I dined at a table next to her in Panamá last week where she is shooting the new 007 movie. Very gracious lady dealing with all the people that interupted her champagne sipping.
Cheers. |

Dame Judi Dench is one of the great actresses (yes, I know that the word is now "actor" for everyone...but she's from the era where they were called "actresses" :)). I was at the National Theatre in London a few years ago (to see a Tom Stoppard play) and she was there doing some sort of an interview for something else. Very regal and elegant. See anything that she's in :)

Aa 1974
Today, AA 1974 LAX-BNA
Seat 3A - Billy Ray Cyrus Seat 4A - actor John Witherspoon Seat 6A - Dwight Yoakam Flight attendants took pictures of both Billy Ray Cyrus and Dwight Yoakam up in the galley when they went to the bathroom - but not John Witherspoon. John Witherspoon was escorted on board by an AA maintenance guy. I guess they grab any and everyone to bring the celebs on board. |

Just got off AA98 ORD-LHR yesterday morning, as i was deplaning from J (last min change to old J too! :( ) I saw David Gest deplaning from F. I think he was sat on the right hand side in row 1-2. He got straight off, walked up the jet bridge and onto one of those little buggy's that whisked him off.

Mary Steenburgen & Diana Ross
This month...
Mary Steenburgen, DFW - LAX Sat next to her in J. Loved the new seats. Commented that she flew AA all the time and it was her first time in the new seats. Diana Ross, JFK AC Wow - the hair. |
Saw Meg Ryan in the AC lounge not long ago. The sat next to Frank Langella LAX-EWR (flying CO) in 1A and chatted for hours -- really nice guy. And Gabriel Garcia Bernal on an overnight flight in BA club world.

Liv Tyler
Liv Tyler. Back in 2002 my wife and I were upgrade on an AA flight from Rome to LHR - BOS. This was a presidents club trip and we were upgraded at the gate. (surprise!) I forget what type of plane it was but wasn't very special seating 3x3 I think, I remember thinking it wasn't much of a big deal over coach. So there I am in the middle seat, my wife in the window and some chooch sits down next to me. I can see he is in the wrong seat and he's looking at his ticket for like 5 mins. He finally moves across the isle to his seat. 2 mins later in walks an entourage and Liv sits down next to me. She was nice, rather ditsy and read magazines all about herself the whole way. We actually helped her get through LHR to here connection to NYC.

Great first post - welcome to FT, AACheetah440! :)

Thanks just found this site, and started a plt challenge last week. 2/3 of the way there with a rt to lhr out of Bos. I'll get it next week with another rt to lhr. I think I've spent about 5 hrs already searching this site. Unbeleivable.
Although, plt will be great, kinda sucks that most of my travel is Int'l out of Boston and upgrades will be tough and $$. Hopefully I can learn all the tricks of the trade. thanks for the welcome. |
Just saw Natasha Bedingfield checking in right before me at LAX.
|
2/18/08 at LAX: randy jackson (american idol) buying every magazine at the magazine shop next to AC and then vanessa minnilo at the AC FL
