Welcome to Flyertalk.

I'm skeptical that AA has decided to cease sales of 50ml Jack Daniels for $7 each, but stranger things have happened.

Seriously. I think "coach" is the bad news...not lack of Jack.

Cheers.

New BOB menu onboard AA aircraft does not list Jack Daniels, as mentioned previously.

As of 3 days ago, there was Jack Daniels in coach on my flight. Perhaps Eagle is catered differently, but as I drank my wine, the guy across from me dropped $7 on some Jack... it was funny as he ordered after me, and was a little surprised when he had to hand cash over, and I didnt.

Eagle has always been catered differently, IIRC. For example, the gin is Tanqueray instead of Beefeater.

AA (mainline) is only credit/debit. Eagle is cash only.

Well, I'm flying SFO-LAX tomorrow and it looks like I'm not getting an upgrade (EXP desk said F is sold out!) so I'll try to order a Jack and report back

It was definitely gone on DFW->MCO last Friday. I happened to notice that it wasn't on the BOB menu but tried to order one anyway. The FA didn't say anything immediately but then after rummaging through the cart said that they only have Jim Bean now.

Later that day, a friend who had just flown DFW->LHR in J said she'd been told on the flight that they were phasing Jack out. I wonder if it will eventually be gone totally and they are just restricting it to F and J for now to eek out the remaining stock.

I've heard that Beam is the new preferred vendor (Maker's, Devil's Cut, Black etc) - no verification from AA aside from FA on recent flight which offered Devil's Cut and told me that they had changed....
