I am looking for trouble
OK, next week is one of my very rare (compared to most FTers) travelling weeks. I fly down to BOS on the 24th and and leave on the 30th (via ORD both ways). So, what are my odds of running into trouble (i.e. other FTers )? Come on, I know you're out there! And besides, given that only one other FTer can vouch for my existence, I have to prove that I'm not just a computer which sprouts websites now and then.

Hey, welcome to Beantown!!!
Let's see who else is up for it, but I'm definitely in for a lunch or dinner or drinks, to welcome the infamous FewMiles to our little corner of the universe.

actually, I wish I was a more regular FT'er in March when I was in Edmonton... it would have been really nice to know someone in town and meet the illustrious Fewmiles (plus, it's not a great city to be in without a car :-)
cheers,
irene

You should do fine. ORD is a well-run hub with a fine AC. I have kids in BOS and dozens of famly in Chicago. Fly through these locations literally dozens of times per year. The only thing you have to fear is the weather, which none of us can control. Have a nice trip. My compliments on your endeavors with your website.

I am flying BOS-ORD on the 30th. I'll be in Boston the 28-30th, but am booked solid for meetings -- even dinners
So, if you're on AA2013 at 4 PM on the 30th.... see you there!

Count me in! A chance to meet FewMiles is one I couldn't pass up. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I'm in easy range of Boston downtown and Logan.
I sure wouldn't mind meeting the well-traveled Plato90s either!

What time do you come through ORD on 11/30? I'll be flying in that evening around 6PMish.

OK, here's my itin:
24Nov AA1792 YYC 15:30 ORD 19:49
24Nov AA1914 ORD 20:35 BOS 23:47
staying at Boston Sheraton (downtown, near the Hynes convention center)
30Nov AA153 BOS 08:45 ORD 10:32
30Nov AA829 ORD 11:40 YYC 14:19

If you're looking for a convenient & decent spot for a get-together, you might consider the Cactus Club, 1/2-block from the Sheraton at 933 Boylston St (diagonally across the street from the Hynes Convention Center).
It's a bar and Mexican restaurant, lots of space in the bar area for schmoozing, decent food, and reasonable prices.

26th works for me, especially since my job is right in the area.
There's an excellent selection of both bars and restaurants in the area, so if you're familiar with Boston, pick a favorite. Otherwise, I'm sure we can make a suggestion or two.

This is sounding great. Let's say Monday the 26th then. I've been to Boston once before, but I don't have any good suggestions. Someplace downtown near the convention center would be most convenient.
Probable attendees so far: me, Plato90s, BobMcD, PaulSEA1, Efrem, wideman (you in?). Suggestions for a place to eat are welcome.
