777 on transcon?

They're talking about MIA transcons to LAX and SEA on the 777. Seeing is believing.
There's talk they're doing it to feed AsiaPac flights. If so, they need to push some to SJC.
Wouldn't make sense for SFO-JFK though; better sense for SJC-JFK. Are there any plans for a LAX-NRT? What's the need for 777s to LAX if they're not feeding anything?

I agree the only thing they are feeding are AA code shares on Eva and japan and CX.
So if your intention is to upgrade from MIA to SE Asia then you are out of luck beyond LAX(except on CX).
Lets have more AA metal across the pacific or at least open up codeshares for upgrades
