Does anybody know if the 777s on AA129/AA128 SJC-NRT vv are equipped with Empower laptop power outlet? (Where does one find this info on AA's website?)
What are the seats like in J class? Is it worth 25000 AA miles to upgrade to FC?

According to my information, ALL of the 777's have the seat plugs. I am about 90% sure they are in every seat (including coach). The are definately on every seat in Business and First.
I don't really have a comment on the FC seating. I have only been on the 777 from ORD/DFW. All I can tell you is the FC have the new bed-seats that go all of the way down.

Coach only have outlets beneath aisle seats. F/C/Y seats are as same as you could see on aa.com.

J seats look like those on the 767ERs, just a bit wider (20" instead of 18.5"). Pitch is similar at 50" (vs. 48/50 on 767ER).
Haven't flown one yet; will fly my first one (LAX-LHR) in a month.

F and C have the power outlets.
Business class is very comfortable. If you have the miles F is a worthwhile upgrade. If you want to sleep you can do with their "POD" seats. I like the cook to order breakfast on the NRT-SJC leg. Customs in SJ is a little time consuming. It'd be worth the F upgrade to be abe to beat the crowd. I can be off the plane, through customs and drive back past the facility only to see people still lined up outside!
