On time performance, in my experience. Mainline was way more reliable. LAX especially was a mess for Eagle. Haven't flown Republic or anything though to compare.

Aren't they always ranking in last place regarding on time performance?

Probably. Seems like all of the regionals usually are near the bottom for on-time performance. Is MQ consistently worse than its regional peers?

Subjectively, the fact that MQ flies NO CRJ-200 equipment at all makes them tops in my book!

But I think that our industry expert was trying to make some much broader point than on-time performance.

The E75 has not entered service yet. The aircraft is probably in Chicago for employee familiarization activities.

ETA:
The E75 starts service on August 1 2103

This must be what is causing all the problems at ORD today. My 1020am connection to ATL was canceled due to no pilot. Now my 505pm re-booked flight just canceled due to no pilot. Seems I've heard several cancelation announcements for the same thing down the hall. Having flashbacks to the pilot games on AA last Fall. Ugh.

That's this week. In fact I'm flying thru ORD on 8/1. Maybe one will be nearby to check out.

You're saying flights were canceled because pilots were angry there was an E75 afoot? That sounds like highly unlikely.

Unfortunately this happens more frequently at the end of the schedule month as pilots max out on hours.
