Flight Notifications/ texts just stopped

My flight notifications/ text updates just stopped last week. Anyone else experiencing this? Everything looks good on my profile where I request these.

thanks!

When AA sends out a text, it's not truly a text. Those with texting plans also have an email address that when a message is sent, it is received as a text.

When I stopped receiving text notifications form AA, I called AT&T up, after an investigation and working my way up the support tiers, they found that for some reason, AT&T was detecting some of these text messages as spam and filtering them.

Unfortunately, AT&T said there is nothing that they can do to allow an override for me. Thus, the text notifications still comes inconsistently. Not everyone experiences this issue, however.

One alternative for the iPhone would be the AA app. They could start doing push notifications though it. That app has been incredibly buggy lately.

Push Notifications to the iPhone would be an excellent enhancement.

I just stopped receiving text notifications last week as well (AT&T) and had to check the AA app to ensure I hadn't already missed my flight.

Inconsistent Text/E mail Notifications

Same thing here. I used to receive them every time. Now over the last couple of weeks they've been inconsistent. BTW-I have T-Mobile

I get them regularly and correctly, as email, on my Blackberry. Last trip 2 days ago. Even got an automated phone call within 5 minutes of a flight being cancelled, which included the rebooking informatoin.

I've had problems recently too -- had a flight out of DFW last week where I got the normal "flight on time, departing from gate C11" e-mail three hours before the flight, but never got the "flight delayed; gate changed to A39" update. Fortunately, when you're actually at the airport, you're less dependent on those e-mails, but it is frustrating. (For what it's worth, I'm signed up for e-mail, not text, notifications, so I know it wasn't a problem with my mobile device -- I never got the follow-up e-mail.)

Mine stopped in January. It only started working for me this month, but I get about 20+ texts over the next 24 hours.

I get mine as emails and they work fine. I also use WorldMate app on my iPhone which is often ahead of what AA tells me.

Inconsistent here

I receive them via email only and sometimes don't receive them, particularly for return flights. Other times I receive one for every single leg. No rhyme or reason for the inconsistency, but have learned not to count on them.
