Anyone figured out how to check availability other then by calling AA? Someone had mentioned that you can check Ethiad FF online but I am finding the availability does not match with what AA has to offer.

Booked a MLE-AUH-LHR using my miles in J for next month. Agent said all looks electronic, yet AA is going to issue my a paper ticket. Anyone else have issues like that?

not sure if i agree there, maybe, route specific? I am trying to get a F award on 11/8/11 with EF showing F3 A3 R1, but AA said NO. currently secured in J though, but love to move up. Although i am returning in F, which i am looking forward to.

Slightly OT, but if connecting YYZ-JFK-AUH on AA/EY, would I need to touch my checked baggage in JFK? I would pre-clear US Customs in YYZ, so I'm hoping not.
I realize on the way back AUH-JFK-YYZ I would need to claim my bags, clear US Customs, then put them on the belt for connecting flights.
For my flight YYZ-JFK-AUH, would the AA J allowance of 3 bags of 70 lbs apply, or the EY F allowance of 3 bags of 70 lbs?

Anyone able to book an F award seat from BOM or DEL to AUH?
Multiple AA agents are telling me that EY does not offer F on these routes but EY website shows Diamond First available for revenue booking.

They are correct. There is no F between BOM/DEL-AUH. J is the highest you can go. They fly the A320 on that route. I just booked an award ticket where my return is in F however, the BOM-AUH route is in J.
