I can't wait to get home so I can find out what I've won (they block facebook at work).

As an EXP, I will not be satisfied with anything less than 10,000 miles.

Only 100 for me and for the wife. Better than nothing I guess. Hopefully they do more of these type of things on FB/twitter.

Enjoy the tax bill!
The terms state that miles are worth 2.75 cents each and that they will send a 1099 to the IRS for people who win over $600.
25,000x2.75=$687.50

Too bad you didn't win just 20,000 miles which would've been under the $600 threshold

question

quick question...
I hit for 100 miles.
Got a confirmation number but it is asking for an email address to confirm. I have a different email address for FB than for the AAccount, and I don't want FB to ever see the *real* email.
Which one do I put in, or do I have to put one at all?

I put the email that I use for AA, not FB. No issues.

2nd prize = 25,000 miles
1st prize = 20,000 miles
Grand Prize = 21,818 miles, I guess (21,818 x 2.75 c = $599.995)

Even if a 1099 isn't issued, you still owe the tax. Then again, tax evasion is so "in" nowadays...
