How long is the "ticketing process"?
I booked an award flight this morning. I called an hour later to make a change and they told me that I would have to wait for the ticketing process to complete. They suggested I call back tonight or tomorrow. Does anyone know how long that process actually takes?

Give another call. A more informed agent should be able to push the ticketing process through and then help you with the changes. Your other option is to put the new itinerary on hold and then call reservation to cancel the one that is still purchased but not ticketed.

Usually not very long, about a day for me at most and maybe a few minutes at best.

Is it an AA, partner or OneWorld award? I've noticed different ticketing times on different carriers.

It's AA. And an e-ticket confirmation email just arrived. Does that mean the ticketing process is done? I'm going to call now.
