Lounge binge in progress

At ORD Flagship ready for flight 98. Planning to hit up Cathay and BA lounges at LHR Sunday.

Being newly EXP this is the first time I've ever been in this lounge without flying first... I feel sorta funny (in J tonight).

It'll be a lot funnier to be in the Galleries before my Y flight back!

Does the ORD FL have Guiness as LAX does?

Galleries First is a great club! Enjoy it! I had a great bacon and egg sandwich from the restaurant last weekend.

It does and I might just have one right now. Normally not my thing while flying, but I guess I'm not in the air yet anyway.

I've never seen it, but then again I tend to drink wine.

Enjoy the champagne bar in LHR. Unlike the Flagship Lounge at ORD the champagne actually comes from France. Whatever next!!!

I was there Tuesday and had the bacon and egg sandwich. A little later it was some Indian food. The wine was great. They also had about a dozen computer terminals for those of us who were too lazy to hook up our laptops.
I would not have thought to try it if the Flagship Lounge was open. This will be my club of choice at LHR.

I think it would be my club of choice as well. With the new upgrades coming to the FL, do you think it will compete with Galleries First lounge? I asked the lady checking me in whether or not the FL was completed and she said yes. Then she told me we could not use the Galleries club. I tried anyway and got right in, and the FL is NOT completed. She had bad information all around! We did go to the AC as well just to check it out. As far as ACs go, it was also a fairly nice club.

Oooooor, you could walk right past the FL to the BA 1st lounge which is infinitely better.

Walk right past the Flagship Lounge at ORD and you hit K20.

I doubt it. All info from that agent was reported as bad. Since BA Galleries is BA operated - not thrid party - OW Elites cannot be excluded - except for capacity control. And if you'd been there, you'd know just how unlikely that is to actually happen! Just a rouge agent spewing cr@p!
