And currently for some flight with united, such as from north America to Japan, there is a high YQ fee, except Air Canada.
The other way you can use is booking flight with Singapore airline to southeast Asia, or flight to Europe with low YQ fee.
But the miles can not be transferred out, and expires in 3 years....
The least option is to redeem for Amazon gift card...
