"When two class acts meet" ?

Unload both, have them rot in a jail for a couple of hours. Refuse entry to Japan for the foreseeable time.

Maybe it's time for the IATA to step up their game and have global ban lists and thus allowing courts (of law) to put passenger, that are convicted of fights and/or endangering passengers on an airplane, on the list for a couple of months/years.

Seems like a much better punishment than giving them fines and/or jail time.

Damn. That FA really put herself in the middle of them while they were throwing some hard hits. Ouch. That's a .... day at work...

As usual with these clips, its not 100% clear what happened before the video, but im glad to hear that at least one of them(red shirt guy, it seems) will rot in jail for a while. People need to calm down and take it easy on the booze.

I posted it in the ANA forum and I'll post it here again:

Wouldn't a IATA wide ban list do the trick. I'd love to see courts, that convict a passenger of unruly or violent behavior onboard an aircraft, being able to put that passenger on a ban list for a couple of months (or years in exceptional cases)?

Such punishment could be a great addition to fines and/or jail time.

Maybe someone needed to pee and he thought that the other passenger was a protester that deserved to attacked? Since he couldn't bring a car onboard, he had to resort to using his fists.

Look how many cowards just sat in their seats and watched this unfold. That FA got right in the middle of it. Good for her.

You should change your handle to world government ...

How would you implement due process with a shared list? Maybe allow local governments and airlines to add whomever they find inconvenient?

So that you end up won the Wordluxwide ban list? Na, I rather enjoy the premier spot to FightClub.

If they want to make a fight club sequel, why should other passengers intervene. The only thing that would happen is that you'll be punched as well and possibly unloaded by police as well.

You must have missed the part where I referred that courts should be allowed to put a passenger on a ban list. Sure, some jurisdiction might be more tricky, but certainly won't be worse than if airlines put people on no-fly lists. You won't get any process when they do it.

Hogwash. There are about a dozen holds one could use on that drunk idiot in order to neutralize him.

I thought UA economy was the only FightClub there was?

Too bad the cargo hold wasn't one of them.
