access ANA's lounge with *G card if my boarding pass shows *S Silver number?

I have Star Alliance Gold status from airline #1 and
Star Alliance Silver status from airline #2. I have no
status with ANA.

If I purchase a JFK-NRT-JFK coach ticket on ANA and
have the miles credited to airline #2(Silver), can I
access ANA's airport lounges simply by showing
my Star Gold card from airline #1?

What do ANA's lounge attendants usually do?

Thanks!

bring your SAG card and a print-out from *A rules which clearly states 'the highest access privilege prevails'

Just be ready to show the card, it makes no difference as long as you are able to present a Star Gold card.

Lounge access on a different FF card to the one ticketed

I have a Cathay Pacific gold card that was a freebie courtesy of American Express Platinum card, and recently I have twice entered BA Club lounges in London using this card although I'm travelling on BA using my blue card with no status, and there was no problem.

No prob whatsoever as long as you are able to show your *A Gold card.

Shouldn't have a problem. Have used my card in NRT at NH before to get lounge access when flying short haul economy.

will the NH lounge attendant need to see a ticket? I am flying on NH, so that's not an issue... but what if I have my *A Gold card but a Mongolian airlines ticket?

Just make sure your mileage is credited to #2 correctly. In some cases they tend to change the registered FF number.
