Anchorage Restaurant
Hi all -
When I visited Alaska a few years back, my parents and I ate at a restaurant in Anchorage. We were trying to think of the name today, and can't!!
I remember it being expensive ($90 for the three of us), and my dad having salmon, while I had chicken parmigiana (indicating it was an eclectic mix of cuisine). They served us warm bread with hummus at the beginning. It was absolutely delicious.
There is also one in New York City. Does anyone know which restaurant I'm talking about? I'm going to go crazy if I don't figure it out!!
Thanks!
Jen

I take it people still don't have any idea which restaurant it is? I'm thinking it was a one-word restaurant.
I also remember their sugar packets were long tubes with drawn pictures of women in purple dresses and such. Colorful, and bizarre.
Argh - this is driving me crazy!!
