Looking to unload AS miles in a hurry?

I stumbled across this listing on craigslist here in ANC.

http://anchorage.craigslist.com/tix/91805951.html

I want to stress I have no idea who the poster is and can't vouch for any of this. Just thought I'd pass it along...

I don't think this will get locked kleeman. I could be wrong though. I'm an established FT'er and people on the AS board know I'm not brokering miles. I just posted it because I thought it was interesting to price 280K miles at $5,000.

For the potential buyer, it's probably a gold mine of savings if used for a couple of FC tickets to a foreign destination. For the seller, I suppose it could finance a few mileage runs...

280K will buy two business class tickets to Africa/India or Middle East. The BA site wouldn't give me prices from ANC but SEA-CPT is about $8000/ticket, SEA-BOM is $7000 SEA-AMM is about $9000. $5000 for these tickets is a pretty decent deal. Just don't get caught.

If I am not mistaken, the Craigs poster is trying to BUY 280,000 for $5,000, not sell them.
