Will Travelers Begin to Avoid Alaska Altogether?
It's stories like this that make me wonder if travelers will begin avoiding Alaska/Boeing aircraft altogether (not just MAX planes), given that flights are still being cancelled every day.

I booked a WN flight for the second time in my life as I observed AS continuing to cancel the route I planned on flying and I have to be there on time.
99% leisure travel here, so I’ll likely continue on AS for leisure trips and get there.. eventually.

I actually booked... Spirit to LAS. Sprung for the big front seat. Have never flown them before, looking forward to the adventure with AMEX Plat delay coverage just in case.
SEA-LAS is something I've always booked on Alaska.

Me personally? No. I had never hesitated flying in a Max when FT in general was avoiding it due to two separate crashes. That said, being on the east coast does not exactly give a lot of access to Alaska flights in the first place.
Travelers in general? Also no in the long run. Most don't even know what plane they are flying in. People buy tickets based on combination of costs and schedule, getting from point A to point B...few in the real world give a rats behind about the carrier.

I cancelled my Alaska flight to Seattle and flew Delta instead! Delta had much better servicethan Alaska and the A321 on Delta is nice! Alaska reliability and customer service right now is awful.

Why? This is really a Boeing issue. Gonna avoid United too?
Or SW, they had their issues before...or Deltra, they have had issues
Its more of do we avoid the airplane altogether? it will be hard to do that....Airbus is backed up 10 years on orders.
Airlines going to go off and find a Russian or Chinese firm?

I'm sort of lucky that any Alaska routes that I've booked for the year are all flown with E175s. I've really disliked the MAX both up front and down the back, so with the recommitment to being "Proudly all Boeing" and the changes of Mileage Plan coming up in March, I see a future of less flying on Alaska for me.
