Fare Restriction for MCE
Did this recently change? I thought there were no fare restrictions for elites and basic economy was eligible. It now reads "Seating is subject to availability. There is no waitlist for Main Cabin Extra seats. Basic Economy fares are not eligible."

Interesting. As far as I can tell AA doesn’t say anything about fare class/BE restrictions: https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/...abin-extra.jsp
