Calling all the "AS is done with PDX" and "PDX is clearly not a focus for AS" folks... Great to see the return to normalcy paired with new routes.

Yes. AS cut it very early on.

With AA starting LAX-TPA it will be interesting to see if AS is just moving the LAX flight up to PDX or will keep both. Probably no reason to keep LAX with AA taking it on.

We should call the "they're doing this because they've abandoned California now and forever" set while we're at it, so they don't feel left out . But PDX is an option for me, so I'm pleased to see the added/restarted/whatever routes.

Austin-Palm Spring is a weird one, operated by E175. I wonder who is getting the phone call to operate....Horizon or Skywest.

You mean “abandoned California now and forever because SFO is the only market that matters”. FTFY.

It’s funny though, someone’s beloved VX barely tried anything out of SJC and didn’t even try SAN beyond SFO/LAX…

It's currently loaded as Skywest (OO).

I’ll happily let AS move the LAX-TPA to SAN-TPA. WN started up SAN-TPA a few days a week.

I really hope there is some PDX hub connectivity to these flights, but I'm not holding my breath. If PDX O&D demand is sufficient, great for AS.

Interesting AS just dumped PDX/FLL only to pick up TPA. Also noting the big 30 route Spirit expansion into MIA due to huge deplaning cost reductions, and wondering whether AS will move back to MIA now.

PDX-FLL returns later in the year. It is only a seasonal route, hence why it is currently not offered.
