Row 10 a321

I'm a pretty husky guy with big thighs. Are there tray tables in the armrests in row 10 or are they in the seats in front of you? When I get row 6 on a normal 737 it gets pretty tight for me with the traytables being in the arm rests (and armrests not being moveable).

Looks like my flight is now on a A321 and I haven't flown on one of those yet. I do like the extra legroom also in the 737 exit rows, so I tend to book row 17 for example on a normal 737.

Any insight is appreciated and Seat-guru doesn't mention armrests or not. What other coach seats are good?
Thanks!

Best coach seat is 27A, unlimited leg room, but it does have the tray table in the arms.

OP, Here's how Row 6 looks on 321

When I zoomed in on my 321 Y cabin shot, looks... like Row 10 is a Fixed Armrest.
I've not been that back on that plane, sorry

Hi, OP. I can speak to this. Seat 10A on the 321 is my favorite. I am 2m tall and my legs cannot reach the row in front. The door is there, but the slide isn’t, so that also helps. You can place hand luggage under the seats of the row in front of you. The view is only partially obstructed by the missing window as once you recline your seat the window is in full view. Tray table comes out of the right armrest for that seat. I’ve been doing the 321 transcon all summer. Correct that 10E/F is blocked for the F/A who’s jump seat is also there.

Dang it. I was hoping the tray table was on the seat in front and not in the armrests. I'm MVPG but may not clear Premium until closer to flight time so I need to make a decision on what "regular" seat to go to. Might just be 11 window now. =(

I flew in 11F last night. No problems, and no armrest tray tables so I could put up the arrest and spread out a bit.

Personally, on an A321 I try to book 11F, exactly 72hrs prior to departure I self upgrade to a seat in premium, then hope that I get upgraded from premium to F before boarding.

Are seats 10 C, E, F still blocked for the FA jump seat? It seems we've moved beyond that need, given the mask change?

Are Exit Row seats 10C, 10E, and 10F blocked/left vacant due to the FA jump seat 10D?

I don't believe they're blocking them anymore.

In my limited checks, I can't find those seats occupied. They're blocked, including within 24 hours.

I agree, if you look at lax-dca, for example, they’re blocked for every flight for months out.

I'm flying in about a week, and 10C, 10E, and 10F are showing up as "unavailable" on the Alaska website but "occupied" on Expert Flyer.

Onboard a 321, and all three (10C, 10E, 10F) are occupied. Must be assigned at gate only? FA says they're not blocked, but apparently were during COVID spacing protocols.

That’s frustrating—perhaps I’ll ask at the gate when I fly (presuming the upgrade gods don’t shine their light on me).
