I've had two other weather delayed flights this year originally due into SFO around 10pm. On those we had 2-3 hour ground stops back east and arrived around 1am on both. Expect it will be pretty close to 1am when we arrive tonight.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Hope either you have an expected but great Vegas night or get back home soon.
Was there any reason why you chose BWI over BOS? I am sure SFO-BOS single day turnaround at one point was $250, which should be most likely cheaper than BWI with 500 extra miles.

BWI priced at $191 along with RDU and PHL midweek. My weekend EWR and BWI trips priced around $250.

Just landed at SFO.

Nice!! They have got to be saver fares then. 99 ea and 191.80 for same day turn. How did you manage to get 18th upgrade?

I bought all of these before saver fares were announced. There were two open F seats on tonight's flight and I was #1 on the list. The morning flight cleared a couple days out. I've been #1 on the gate list a couple times this year.

SFO, and the airlines, have been lucky this year that most of the strongest impacts of the biggest storms have been overnight. That continued yesterday- the first deluge came in 12-6 am and then the second round peaked with 41 mph winds gusting to 62 at 4 am today. I imagine that would have mostly shut things down had it hit during the day

It was downright nasty departing SFO last night with the wind and rain. The turbulence was out of control for nearly half of the SFO-EWR flight too.

But with how bad this storm was, absolutely no weather waiver. Really, AS?

What was your flight time? I imagine you were able to ride quite a jetstream.

A rather unremarkable 4h23m. Solid moderate turbulence from SFO until well past Utah, though. I think they departed on the 10's all day too

I agree - hard to believe nothing for this big of a storm.

There was a 164mph gust recorded in the Sierras.

Was on 3362 (PDX to SJC) on 2/13 landing at 7:00 pm. It was very rough and landed out of the North. Went almost to Palo Alto before turning over the bay back over the Dumbarton bridge. Very smooth landing, however.
