Can one credit FZ flights to AS?

Due to the hopeless FFP that is Emirates Skywards, I have recently moved over to Mileage Plan and have several flights coming up on BA, EK and FZ that I was hoping to credit to Mileage Plan.

With BA and EK things seem clear but now that FZ (flydubai) has adopted Emirates Skywards as its FFP, I was wondering if it is possible (or perhaps will be possible in the future) to credit FZ flights to Mileage Plan.

I asked a flydubai representative who did not know but he did say that one can credit flydubai flights to one of EK's other partners - Korean Air.

Unfortunately, the flydubai website does not mention either Korean Air or Alaska Airlines as partners and just sings the merits of EK's hopeless programme - Skywards!

No, AS and FZ are not partners.

AS and FZ will never become partners unless they start flying to the US or both AS and FZ join the same alliance. You will notice all partners touch an AS hub city.

Other examples that fit this: Jetstar, Dragon Air, Hong Kong Airlines (and other HNA group airlines).
