Discount Code for First Class Bookings (Targeted)
Alaska just sent out an email with a code that expires October 31 (at end of day.) It is 25% off F for flights from 11/15-11/23. Mileage run potential here... Code is: READERSCHOICE2018

Just went to AS site to see
1- flash sale on R side
2- scroll down and Readers Choice award displayed with Discount Code offered in announcement. Look for Non Stop Gratitude.
Part of the AS Site, as of now.
It does say under T and C....must be mileage plan member and targeted offer.

I am surprised the MVPG75K Elites aren't all up in arms because they are selling off their G, T & R class complimentary upgrades. That was my initial thought when I received the offer.

I'm wondering if any non-elites received this offer? What's the target: elites? individuals who have purchased F/P fares in the past 12 months?
FWIW many of these fares are marked up any way, so it's like, "Look! A shiny 25% discount on a 50% marked up item!?"
But, there are a few decent deals in there.

I looked at a few flights but prices for Thanksgiving week are already so high the 25% off doesn't do much to entice me. As an example I was looking at a non-peak SEA-IAD and with the discount it was still $1,600 OW. I did already have a trip booked from SEA-GEG during the discount period so I was able to cancel and re-book for $89 each way in FC, got a couple dollars back as well, so can't beat that.

I got the email and I am no longer an elite. I had been looking at fares a few weeks ago and there were only decent fares at off hours. If flying in Y on AS, I always then pay extra for a seat in PC and the combined cost of Y + PC for off hours wasn't appealing. And the F cost was crazy. So I decided to rent a car and drive. But after checking the fares now with the discount - on the flights that I wanted the current cost of Y was very close to F. So it actually works out cheaper for me to book now, on the flights that I prefer, for less than when I was looking at the Y + PC option a few weeks ago.
They must not have been selling F cabin fares (plus the lack of U for those trying to upgrade). On both of my flights between SEA and SMF the seating map was completely open.

I received it and am a MVPG. It piqued my interest and got me to open the message, but since the window of time to fly is so narrow and I'll already re-up my status so don't need a mileage run, it unfortunately isn't of any use to me.

They are advertising it on Facebook, do they normally do that with "targeted" offers? Without logging in it lets me go all the way through booking right to the payment screen. Wish the usage window was not so small.
