ALK is increasing dividends (fifth year in a row). I suspect they are fine.

they’re also cutting a bunch of management positions which will doubtless save some $$ ...

The article even quotes: “They were so heavy at the top, even before they got together with Virgin,” the former manager said. “A blind man could have seen it coming.”

It makes sense, if they are bringing some VX management into the fold, you don't need so much overlap. I also am a proponent of less upper management unless necessary.
