They don't serve the midwest well in general. I'd vote for LAX-DTW, but I doubt they'd ever do that. I'd settle for an LAX-SEA-DTW married segment discount instead of what looks like just two tickets stuck end to end.

That's #2 on my wish list. I have no insider knowledge here but really think CMH would be the first Ohio city AS would serve. If I recall, I think the airport has been lobbying for a SEA non-stop for awhile.
AS1692 SEA CMH 0945 1715 (Why not 1492?)
AS1693 CMH SEA 1815 2025
HT to the a.net thread about a CMH announcement tomorrow AM.

Interesting...I would have thought CVG before CMH but still happy to see AS serve a new state....fingers crossed for double miles although the new SEA-PIT route didn't include a double miles promotion which I thought was odd and a break from tradition. Judging by the flight number, am I to assume this will be operated by Airbus aircraft?

Now more options to earn AS miles on Bay Area - CMH, SFO/SJC-LAX-CMH (AS-AA), and SFO/OAK/SJC-SEA-CMH (all AS).
Very cool. Wonder if SFO-CMH might be announced at the same time. I know UA almost started it this year with a 319. WN makes OAK-CMH kinda work 10 months a year, but the revenue potential of OAK just isn't comparable to SFO.

No announcement on AS.com or the Columbus airport web site YET, but it is bookable. No F fares loaded when I peeked. Perhaps the Brad has that blocked off.

Can we get this route started tomorrow? Decent amount of Oregonians heading to Columbus despite the certainty of a blowout over the next few days to watch the Beavs take on the Buckeyes.

The official "New Flights on Alaska" page on alaskaair.com lists the addition of SFO-MEX in "most recent news".
Wasn't this flight cut? Does AS not update new flights anymore?
