partner fee $12.50 clarification
Is the partner fee for each airline partner (ex - CX and Qantas?
I have an award ticket on Qantas from AKL to LAX. If I change it to a CX ticket for HKG to LAX, will I be charged another partner fee of $12.50?

You should not be charged an additional amount for substitution, as it is a generic, one-way partner booking fee.

You will be assessed a change feee however. Unless you are a MVPG or higher status get those fees waived.

Changed Award Ticket yesterday. Only additional fee was increase in Passenger Duty due to layover.
At first Award Desk wanted to refund me 20,000 miles. Realized he was going to book wrong class of service. Reminded him it was F. Quickly, changed and miles stayed the same. Same for $12.50 fee. Travel is 8 months out.
