"Verify that you are human" makes site inaccessible
This keeps happening on different computers and networks. Makes you complete a captcha in order to access Alaskaair.com, but it's impossible to be successful. Just unending captchas.
It can't be just me, been logged out, using different computers and browsers, on different networks and IP addresses. I'd write to Alaska about it, but they just ignore anything related to the functionality of their website that I've written in about. Doubt calling customer care would get anywhere. Guessing they blocked a large range of IP addresses. Very frustrating as I'd much rather book flights with Alaska.

Yeah, fairly new to me. Saw it first, maybe a month ago? But have been seeing it more often lately. Sometimes it's triggered by something like just looking at a seatmap. Others it blocks the site immediately. Takes some time before I can start using the site again. Wouldn't be a big deal if the captchas actually worked...

Korean Air Lines also makes you do a Captcha before you can search flights.
And I get them wrong about 50% of the time.
The most annoying thing ever.
And what exactly are they trying to protect??? Valuable intellectual property that I can just go grab from Kayak/Orbitz/Expedia/Travelocity/Hotwire........?

I have been getting it more recently. I figure it is because I used an ad-blocker. I also wonder if the new OS X update that prevents some tracking by default in Safari is causing issues. Alaska clearly does some session tracking based on the remarking ads and emails I get....
OP, what is your computer setup?

It might be based on what I'm searching for though, certain city pairs may be triggering it. Maybe they don't want too many people to be checking prices I'll usually check once or twice a day for prices once I know I want to book something.

That does seem like the most likely scenario at this point.
I figured out how to get past the endless captuas though. I refreshed one of them, and after I solved it, it went back to the site instead of giving a new one to solve.

It's been on my desktop (with different browsers), my phone and tablet. Logged in or not, using incognito or not. Doesn't matter how I'm connected to the internet (wifi with or without a VPN, cell connection, etc.). Guess most of the time I am using a javascript blocker as well as adblocker, but even with those disabled I still get it.

I have only run into it when I am clicking around relativity fast. Not fast for a FF person, but probably faster than the average user that the system sees.
