Hey Missy - Request for New Mileage Plan partner (EI)

https://blog.aerlingus.com/seamless-seattle/

Since EI is owned by the group that owns BA, this should be easy peasy, right?

I've not seen any comments from Missy for a long time....is she still in the same role as before or did she move on?

I vaguely recall that she said she wouldn't be around as much after some less-than-grateful treatment from one or two people around here? But I'm really not sure if that actually happened.

But yeah, adding EI would make a whole lot of sense given that they already serve SFO as well and will likely be breaking up with UA as part of the IAG acquisition (and, like FI and EK, they're already buddy-buddy with B6 for connections on the east coast). More sense than AY, at least.

Interesting....I figured her job had something to do with being a social media representative which I assume would entail dealing with the not-always-so-kind traveling public....I for one appreciated her insight/feedback....speaking of insight/feedback...where have you been lately ASFlyer??

Even if they don't partner with EI, it'll be nice to have more options for getting to Western Europe. Dublin isn't really a hub, but at least there are dozens of flights from there to London/Amsterdam/Frankfurt.

I'd be happy to have them as a partner though

EI would be a great partner to add. In addition to adding more options to Europe, it's an airline that is rather tolerable to fly without a native elite status.

Thanks for starting this thread. Even if they don’t become an AS partner, it is a valuable addition to the SEA route network.

^ tagging me is the best way to alert me to a thread.

I was in Maui

98103's request is duly noted. No one would be more excited about an Aer Lingus partnership than me.
