Youngest MVP?
My barely 3 year old son hit MVP last month. Anybody else out there have a younger frequent flyer?^

Getting a start on those lifetime miles! And unaccompanied minor fees are waived for elites.

Still time in the year for Gold
Congrats! Do you have an FT handle picked out for him yet?

3? Wow, I thought my son was ahead of the game at age 5. You win!

Given that infants < 2yo can fly free on Alaska, I think 3 is almost the minimum age to get a MVP...

Not everyone relies on the 'freebie' seat...

He's booked on a couple of same day turn MR next month.
Just kidding.
I think he (and I) will end the year about 10k short of Gold.

Far from it. Many of us purchase seats for our children so they can sit safely buckled in a child restraint. Both of my kids had flown ~100K butt-in-seat miles before their 2nd birthday (although not all on AS, granted).

Congrats! My twin boys were MVPs at age 3 (mostly because they flew for free prior to that age) and now at age 6 are MVPG due to all of those cheap BA J fares across the pond

Both of my kids were big enough by age 1 that holding them for a whole flight just wasn't realistic.

Oldest MVP would be more interesting, IMO.
