Since pcoll resurrected this 4 year old thread, receiving the chocolate has been hit-or-miss. Especially in Premium, Ive ***never*** received one.

So I was surprised today to get one on Horizon flying YVR-PDX... 1st time getting one on a Q4.

Alaska has one thing we can all agree on: inconsistency!

Inconsistent indeed because I feel that I only get them when I’m seated in Premium! The FAs come around with mints when I fly F but never chocolate.

I believe the chocolate bars are for Elites in the Main Cabin in lieu of a complimentary drink. I have received them a few times in F and in addition to a complimentary alcoholic beverage in main, but that is "over & above." I also get them on QX YLW-SEA periodically in a constantly inconsistent manner. I asked for one on one flight. The FA looked at his device and returned with 7 distributing them down the isle. They are definitely stocked. They keep them in the upper right storage cabinet in a ziplock bag. lol

I don't think I've ever received them in F...that's impressive!

I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten choc in F (if so, rare), but lots of warm nuts. Now/ with dark choc, I'll be more aware.

when I resurrected this thread, I realized it was started by AK Cuisine. I believe I did the poll above thread, (don’t hold me to that)
wondering if anyone knows what happened to AKCuisine? I know AK was going through chemo and rads same time I was. 2016

no new posts after Dec 2017. Hope it is not sad news but just lost interest in Flyertalk.

As MVPG75K I specifically ask about the choc when in F, sometimes I get it, sometimes they say there is no choc on board, and only one time the FA explained to me that the choc is for those in coach and I am much better off sitting in first even without choc.

I was able to pass out a bag of these last summer

I think they are fairly consistent on distribution- at least compared to the PDB in F.
