SE Alaska weather advisory

See this which posted on AS web site a few minutes ago.

I can attest to the fact that it's blowing pretty good down here already.

Yeah not a good day to go up the tram

Sounds like winds in downtown Juneau upwards of 90 MPH. Blame the legislature in session . Full of cold air this time?

Ha. They're stuck here, too. For the time being.

As an aside, there was enough wind today at my house in the Mat Su to remove my barbecue from the deck and place it upside down in the grass.

I guess it didn't actually go through the window, but it broke out both panes. Probably a branch or roofing material judging by whats lying on the ground outside.

It's definitely breezy on Douglas tonight!

Non event in KTN. Of the 1-2 feet of snow predicted, townside got about an inch of slush. It's snowing hard at my house now, but I'm at a bit of an elevation. It's most likely pouring in town right now.

We've had enough high winds this winter thank you very much. Our neighbors lost their roof in November due to high winds. We've had several mud slides and countless power outages this winter just due to high wind. You guys can keep it.

Ya I read about that in the KDN. Was really neat how people helped her out.

It's colder than a well-digger's bologna sandwich here now.

It's a beautiful 83 in Phoenix with a light breeze.....

Shoveling the sunshine off my car this morning was very labor intensive.
