Mileage Plan Enhancements or Partners you'd like to see in 2015
Was reading Lucky's blog this morning (One Mile At A Time) and was reading about Delta's new enhanced partnership with Hertz, along with a post about Chase UR. I began daydreaming about Alaska enhancing MP with something similar to:
What MP Enhancements would you like to see in 2015?
- Crossover rewards with SPG, or
- Offering status with Hertz, or even
- Becoming an Ultimate Rewards transfer partner.
What MP Enhancements would you like to see in 2015?

1) Free snack in Y (in place of an alcoholic beverage) for MVPG and 75Ks that don't get upgraded.
2) Ability to SDC to flights with or without allowable connections (unlike the current SDC policy where you have to keep the exact same routing).
3) Able to use upgrade certs on G/T fares (I'm willing to let the cheapo R fares go as a compromise but on many of the flights I'm looking at lately, the fare difference between G/T and K is just too high to justify the expense of an upgrade I may get free anyway).

Reading this I keep hearing that Rolling Stones song in my head,
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want,
You can try sometimes but you might find
You get what you need.

So we can earn/burn on KA flights. Currently they are not allowed even if CX coded. Many cases this means buying a second ticket to many cities in Asia
That would come in handy for us east coast people with limited flight options.
