Where were you on the upgrade list for your Delta flight?

How are the upgrade odds on DL PDX-LAX-PDX mid-day, mid-week? These flights currently price at $124 RT on both DL and AS, but due to an AMEX credit card cashback offer, three of these would cost me $360 on AS but only $110 on DL.

What exactly is the cash back offer you are referring to?

that is what i figured. DL had a decent fare MDW-ATL-SNA but AA has a $90 o/w i snagged instead. didn't feel like flying all the way down to ATL. i wish i could do AS ORD-SEA-SNA but the cost is insane.

$250 off $1000 in my case. I had spent $650 on DL already, so ended up buying three PDX-LAX RTs on DL, for a post-cashback cost of ~$35 per RT. Figured even if I don't get any upgrades, it's a great deal.

flew YVR-LAX on the weekend... just missed out on the way down (2/2 at departure), but got my upgrade on the way back with a mostly empty business class too.

Mr. FB (MVP) and I (Gold 75K) were the only ones on the UG list for DL 2464 from TPA-JFK this morning, and with 6 empty seats in F, we cleared well before boarding started. F went out with one empty seat.
