Seems like a good upgrade. I'm in Eastbay1K's camp (the correct camp).

Will this also be implemented on the ANC-LAX red-eye? It's of a similar length to a transcon.

Being old, and originally from the East Coast, I associate that term with Bar Harbor Airlines (a/k/a Bar Harbor Scareways). My one flight on them was ... memorable.

I like the way you think.

Thanks for sharing your insights, AS Flyer. Do you have any information about other meal options that are being rolled out?

I noticed that we *finally* are seeing different offerings on the 3 1/2 hour flights as of the beginning of April. When you're a frequent business traveler, seeing the same-old-same-old plates trip after trip after trip can get old very quickly.

Come to think of it, that's not a bad idea. Bone china would be nice.

I expect nothing less on a 45-minute ANC-ADQ flight.

Heh. For the ANC-ADQ fare ($200ow at the low-end), you'd think they could afford a $3 meal tray like that.

Absolutely! Sign me up for caviar service for any/all flights. Much better than a sandwich made with pressed-formed turkey-parts.
