Alaska Airlines unveils its first-ever International Business Class Suites experience
Featuring private lie‑flat suites, elevated dining and premium lounge access, the product is designed for comfort as Alaska expands nonstop service to Europe and Asia
- Fully lie-flat suites with privacy doors, direct aisle access and spacious lounge-style seating that converts into a true flat bed.
- Modern cabin design featuring 18” HD entertainment screens, over 1500 movies and TV shows, noise-reducing headsets, personal power outlets and wireless charging.
- Elevated restaurant-quality dining delivers a multi-course culinary journey before guests even reach their destination. Each menu celebrates the flavors of the West Coast and the global destinations Alaska serves.
- Premium bedding and travel amenity kits will include luxury bedding designed in collaboration with Pacific Northwest icon Filson. International Business Class amenities include a plush mattress pad, soft sleeping pillow, lumbar/lounging pillow and oversized duvet — plus a collectible travel amenity bag in two West Coast-inspired Filson colors, created exclusively for Alaska Airlines. Each kit includes premium Salt & Stone skincare products and other travel essentials. Guests will also receive a custom reusable water bottle developed in partnership with PATH Water.

Very welcome news, as the reviews Ive seen suggest the current product is very basic.
As for the wine; Stags Leap is an excellent choice. Frankly Id be happy if they settled on Artemis (which retails around the $100 mark) in the long term. Armillary does seem a bit of a stretch to sustain

Someone somewhere on FT once posted the anticipated delivery dates of the new 789s, though of course I can't find it now. That would probably put the timing of any announcements into perspective.

Fine wines and 1,200 channels is nice, but I would be happy if my feet did not feel shoved into a small box when flying J.
AA, BA, TAP all suffer from this. Woman here looks 5 foot nothing with size 5 shoes.

I think our dear mod posted about it a few weeks or months ago. As I recall, one delivery this year? Not sure if that already happened. But yes, assuming they have more coming in the not to distant future (i.e., by this time next year), I would hope to hear at some point what is coming next, otherwise the whole "global from SEA" thing will be quickly get quite stale (especially with FCO at least being seasonal).

A few things of note...
.
.
- The F&B announcements look truly fantastic and should quell most of the complaints that have been lodged in that regard. Salt & Straw sundae service sounds awesome

- Free Starlink access will require Atmos membership starting in May. I don't think this has been mentioned / discussed before.
- Confirmed Main Cabin will get complimentary meals / blankets / pillows.
- "Premium Class" gets free alcohol / amenity kit / IFE, but otherwise will remain a Y+ product for the foreseeable future. Makes sense since introducing W class would require a cabin refresh to switch out the hard product. But aside from that, all the soft product aspects look awesome!
