BA Inventory Missing from Alaska Search
Since yesterday I am seeing zero British Airways inventory when searching for flights on Alaska's site, app, and classic search. Reservation text line and twitter DM both just completely dismissive like they don't understand or care that it's a systematic problem.
Any way to get info through so this can get resolved? Trying to book at 330 days out to snag business class seats and my deadline fast approaching.
Cheers

Hmm you're correct, no longer seeing any (and I was till 1-2 days ago).
I think your best bet would be to get attention of some travel bloggers through tweets and such, who can create a story about it which will force Alaska to look into the issue.

Hah, I was just about to post about this... same thing.... I have one of the Chase BA 2fers so was planning to book 2 directly with BA and then 3 with either AA or AS miles. I can see the flights (and copious availability) on BA and AA but nothing was coming up on AS. Kind of interested in booking those 3 others on AS as they would get some EQMs under the new 2025 rules.

These constant, persistent IT bugs which plague the AS awards system is starting to make me re-think my earning patterns. I dont need to have miles in a system that you cant use or shows phantom inventory. I'm already starting to drift over to UA as their United Next product for domestic and Polaris for international is pretty nice. The UA clubs seem to be on par or better than Alaska's and are cheaper as well.

Yeah, it is pretty clearly an IT issue which I finally feel like I got someone on their social team to escalate/pass on after several tries.
I am just a bit panicked about the whole thing as I have been waiting to book my return flight from Europe at 330 days out to snag BA Business class, and have been seeing availability every day until yesterday, and I think tomorrow was my "go day" for booking.

I am experiencing the same issues for paid flights. I have been unable to find any flights I need inbound to CGK from NA or outbound CGK to Europe. I had to book one of the flights today so booked directly on QR. The AS site pricing O/W in Y is more expensive than R/T in J on other sites. Just hit 100k yesterday and it's a bit of a let down with 2025 EQM earning rates for next year booked outside of AS significantly reduced. I fly paid J but I am not prepared to pay $10,000 O/W to Asia.

- deliberate AS policy to limit its liability (in $) to partners. Frequent flyer miles/awards will be settled cash between the airline accountancy systems
- agreements with BA & QF on award availability. Or QF & BA limiting awards for AS freq flyers.
- due to integrating HA

I was able to speak with a very helpful person at the Partner desk. She checked with several coworkers. There is no known issue with a policy change. She suspects that it is an IT glitch or British pulled the flights as they resolve an IT issue. She did report the error so alaska can inquire further.
