Fare code differences on aa.com vs. ba.com
Hi, I am Alaska Gold and looking at flights from PHX/LAX to OSL mid-November. These flights are a mix of AA and BA legs and I'm looking at Premium Economy. On aa.com, the fare codes show as P or H for all the legs, but the same legs on ba.com show T,E or Y,K. How can I be sure Alaska will apply the P/H and award 100% EQM?

Remember that you earn according to the chart of the marketing carrier (the airline in the flight number), not the operating carrier.

If there is a schedule change, it is possible that the BA LHR-OSL or OSL-LHR flight could change to the BA flight number. That really isn't a concern since H fare class earns 100% EQM on either carrier.
If you purchased the BA itinerary, the K segment would earn 50% EQM. LHR<->OSL is 750 miles but both AA & BA earn a 500 EQM minimum, so you would earn 500 EQM on that segment. The miles would come from BA and usually post within a week.
