Hey everyone - new AA Plat Pro that just booked an itinerary with all AS flights in April.
I just qualified for AA PP on 2/20. I noticed after booking today on the AS website that AS has my AA status with Oneworld Sapphire. AA PP would have me getting Oneworld Emerald benefits, unless I'm mistaken. Is the AS website wrong, or do I not need to worry?

With an early arrival maybe I could just show up and ask at the gate for an SDC?!

Help w/ claiming flight credit (paid ticket not miles)
AIA - I know this is a miles forum / thread but don't see anything other than this forum for Alaska Airlines so posting here - pls redirect as/if appropriate.
I booked two first class tickets (almost) a year ago for my wife and I RT BOS<->PDX - my wife had to cancel at the last minute - we are owed ~$650 in flight credit.
We are trying to find this flight credit and have the ticket #'s and record locators - Alaska Air phone reservations agent is telling us the only way they can help us is with a PIN they sent via email on day of cancellation.
We have gone through all our emails and have never received any such communications from Alaska. Looking for advice or similar experiences as to how to resolve. The flight credit will expire w/in 3 days so time no longer on our side.
Thanks!

Per oneworld lounge policies, they actually are obligated to, although plenty of data points that indicate they often don't care or follow the rules, to the point where if I were in OPs shoes, I might try my luck at the AA FL first instead. As OWE, I've gotten in QF F and AA lounges on exactly that type of itinerary (arriving on long-haul international connecting to domestic on separate tickets).
Agree it's a bit more nebulous for SFO since it's one degree removed from the international long-haul, particularly on a separate ticket.

I'm not as optimistic about SFO but that's relatively short layover anyway.

Here's a new one for me:
Booked SEA-LAX-GDL for July 13. Roughly 6am departure from SEA, 3pm arrival in GDL
Notice a few days ago that it was now showing a departure of July 12-13 for the flight in the app
Turns out AS moved me to a redeye to LAX leaving the evening before
No notice, no schedule change alert, nothing by email nor any mark on the reservation in the app denoting the schedule had changed
I called and the agent said they don't issue schedule alert changes until 90 days before your flight leaves
I've never heard of that before and know for a fact I've received notices of schedule changes well before 90 days (there's one showing on my app right now for a flight in September)
She moved me back to my original flights, which still existed - she claimed those flights must have been removed from the schedule and later re-added to the schedule at the exact same times as the previous schedule
In the end, it was fixed without issue but only because I noticed it early and called. It's pretty bizarre from my perspective that they would move my flights so dramatically without any notice, but maybe others think this is normal?
