I'm wondering if this "Alaska Hawaiian" app branding is only a transition until April 22 because pax still need to use the OG HA app when flying HA until April 21 so they couldn't roll out a new HA app just yet.
In my opinion the combined logo and branding of the app is terrible and sadly the app is the same clunky OG AS one with new colors.
Hopefully post-April 22 they will roll out separate AS and HA branded apps that are the same app, but w/ different logos/motifs.

Makes no sense (IMHO) to release two separate apps that are differentiated only by the color scheme, some logos and maybe some verbiage.

Changed my brand experience to Hawaiian and looks like it also changes all the URLs you go to (eg. inflight entertainment, travel advisories, lounges, etc)
so just an FYI if you prefer the aloha experience more than the Alaskan one
