Do Priority Pass Restaurants Still Exist?

Does anyone know whether Priority Pass restaurants still exist? I have the Citi Prestige card, and as far as I know, that card did not disallow Priority Pass restaurants. Upon looking for a restaurant on their website at an airport where I previously used the card at restaurants (BWI), I did not see anywhere listed. I could not find restaurants listed at other airports where I have seen the restaurant benefit in the pass either.

Did the benefit end completely? If not, where does one find which restaurants still exist?

The only reason that I have kept my Citi Prestige card is because it allows Priority Pass restaurants, unlike other credit cards that offer the Priority Pass benefit.

Yes, they still exist. Look, for example, at BOS, CLE, DEN, DFW, FLL, HOU, IAD, LGW, LHR, MIA, PDX, SAN, SEA, SFO.

Yes, there are currently 29 of them in the United States found across 18 airports ATL, BOS, CLE, DEN, DFW, DTW, FLL, IAD, IAH, IND, MIA, PDX, PVD, SAN, SEA, SFO, SYR, and TUS.
Internationally there are even more, I know of 101 PP restaurants located outside of the United States.

So it looks like the one in BWI ended.

Do the restaurants still work for PPass with Chase Sapphire Reserve? They went away at PDX but now show in my APP again?

No, Chase eliminated the restaurant feature a year ago: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/chas...-7-2024-a.html

The Priority Pass website and app will only show accurate results if you are logged in. If you have more than one Priority Pass membership, verify that you are logged in using the correct credentials.

I carry a PP membership via BofA PRE, which still offers restaurant benefits. If I understand the T&C correctly, only guest credit is capped at 1 per visit. In other words, I won't be charged an extra guest "entry" accidentally as my membership only covers 1 guest per visit, correct?

Priority Pass restaurant access has been reduced or removed at many airports since 2023. Some locations still offer it, but it's more limited now.
  • Check Priority Pass app for up-to-date info.
  • Contact Citi Prestige to confirm if your card still includes restaurant access.
  • Some airports still offer meal credits at restaurants, but it’s not as common.
Let me know if you need help checking specific airports!

If you are asking - do they allow you to charge +1 for double credit? That is not supposed to happen unless you come with a +1.

No. My plan was to have 3 people, but use 2 visits/credits (self plus 1 guest). I am not familiar with the process and don't want the waiter to "run" 3 credits when he/she sees 3 people while charging for the third person.

So take one guest in with one card and then another guest with another card ?

I’m curious to know if anyone here still has a PP card with a restaurant benefit, and they still are able to find a restaurant that accepts it. One thing I found interesting about this relatively short-lived social experiment was the tipping aspect. Every restaurant worker I ever talked to about it hated PP with a passion. So many times they would get little or no tips with a PP transaction. I wonder how many restaurants there still are that are willing to anger their staffs by accepting PP.

Anyone who buys a Priority Pass membership, rather than using one bundled with a credit card, has access to the restaurant network. It you go to prioritypass.com *without* logging in you can see the participating restaurants. There are three at SFO:

Thanks. Wow, those same three at SFO are still in the system after all this time.

It looks like Prestige level for US$469 gives the road warriors unlimited access to the restaurants. I wonder why they offer that. Seems like some road warriors would use this >100x per year. Maybe there's a trigger where at some number of visits they cancel the account, give a pro rata refund, and tell the person never to apply again.

Yup. The 4th that was available at SFO, Yankee Pier, is closed due to the construction. In some airports there's even other "experience" options, such as massages and sleep pods (generally only for an hour or so through). I will admit to twice having got a Priority Pass paid haircut at Singapore airport, where other options include about a dozen restaurants (although unfortunately most of them have moved to a "set menu" option only when using PP), or even the option to rent a bicycle (landside) for 2 hours - and yes, it thankfully it includes a shower afterwards...
