BCN Arrival Lounge
Hello all, I'll be arriving at BCN from PHL early in the morning and and looking for a place to freshen up. I currently have access to priority pass lounges. Does anyone know if they accept arrivals and have shower facilities (even for a fee)? Thanks so much!

According to LoungeBuddy there's a T1 landside lounge called the Premium VIP Lounge which is in the same area as the Air Shutte/Air Bridge Barcelona-Madrid. They accept Priority Pass and have showers for a fee.

But this is landside Schengen. OP is arriving from the US and theres no way he/she will be admitted landside Schengen without a BP for a flight departing from there.

It has been my experience that landside lounges are generally used as arrivals lounges and aren't exclusive to either Schengen or non-Schengen pax as they are located outside the sterile areas and passport control. While I've not been to this specific lounge, I've been to several EEU PP-accepted landside lounges and always had admission no matter if I was arriving from the Schengen area or not. I don't even recall them asking for my BP.

Does anyone have any experience with that Landslide lounge? I have an arrival into BCN and would love to work from the lounge before heading into town.

You need a same day ongoing BP to access the lounge. They scan the BP.
Now to call it a lounge is generous. It's a room basically with some refreshments, WiFi and seats and that's about it. It's next to the Puente Areo part of Terminal 1.
Now there is a workaround to the BP issue, you could book a ticket on Priceline same day with Vueling. Check-in and print BP, use it for the lounge and then cancel the ticket on Priceline or similar. It worked a few years ago and should still work now.

Is there an arrival lounge in Barcelona (BCN)?
Arriving early in the morning from EWR on Polaris terminating in Barcelona. I asked United chat (while dealing with a different issue) if there was an arrival lounge in Barcelona and they said there as, but that seems to conflict with what I've read elsewhere that the lounge is only usable if you are connecting to another flight.
So, is there an arrival lounge that I can use to freshen up before heading into the city?
Thanks!

Arrival lounges are so uncommon I would doubt most agents know the difference between a regular (departure) lounge and an arrival lounge.

It's worth a try but note that others have reported needing an outbound boarding pass to use the lounge, even though it is landside:

We arrived from JFK this morning and had to wait until the lounge opens at 7am. No need for onward boarding pass. We provided them with our flight number from JFK and was let in note that shower facilities are extra (I think something like +20)
