retrocrediting at another program?

Flying tomorrow on JJ and AA in Y. It is a complex connection, and I would prefer to keep my AB Platinum number in the reservation for check in, in order to possibly get better treatment in case of IRROPS, overbooking, etc.

TB is not crediting miles anymore. But will I be able to retro-claim later to BA, or will BA tell me that this was already credit elsewhere?

Thoughts? Experiences? Opinions?

(i should be checking in now, so please speak up)

No, if your TB FF number is in your reservation at the time of flying it, you won't be able to credit those flights with any other program.

too bad. Then I think I change to BA. Thanks!
(frankly this is annoying, since they don't credit)
