JFK - Airberlin Lost Luggage
Don't know if this is a good place to post, so I'm sorry if it's not.
Flew VCE-DUS-JFK on an AA award. My wife and I both checked a bag. Hers made to JFK, mine didn't. Filled out the report and was promised a call today. Shockingly, it didn't come. I've called the number on the form 4 times, 718-244-0921, and it just rings and then plays a message saying the voicemail is full.
When I finally got back to PIT today, I asked AA baggage services (a different baggage fiasco) and he gave me the AA baggage headquarters (or something) and told me to ask the to see if the can find my bag using "World Tracker". I'll do that tomorrow, it's been a long day.
Does anyone have any other thoughts on who I can contact?

My itinerary was an AA award:
VCE-DUS (7/24 - 2:25pm - 4:15pm - Air Berlin) - forced overnight in DUS
DUS-JFK (7/25 - 9:45am - 12:05pm - Air Berlin) - delayed to 12:40 pm, arrived JFK around 3:00 pm NYC time
LGA-PIT (7/25 - 8:30pm - 10:07pm - American Airlines) - cancelled. Rebooked on 7/26 12:25, which was further delayed until 2:30pm - actually delayed further but they stopped sending emails.
My bag never made it to JFK.
