Checked in online - no printer

I checked in online for a booking with Air Berlin and have a PDF boarding pass. The first leg is AB and the second leg BA, all on one AB PNR.

As I won't have access to a printer before the flight, can I simply turn up at the airport without a boarding pass and have it printed there?

I've travelled low-cost airlines so much recently, I forget what "normal service" is like

"Normal" means a much longer line. But, many people don't have a printer, their printer jams or they spill coffee on their BP.

I never print my AB boarding pass, I let them do it for me! Even when I use OLCI...but why don't you give a try to having your BP on your phone? there's an option for that at the end of check-in process. And then again if you really want the paper version, you can still pretend you don't have any battery left, they should print it for you without any fuss.

EDIT: yep, "normal" still means cattle class on the ground & on board except drinks and snacks are "free" (or say, included in the inflated ticket price) and you get MILES
