Dear all,
I'm booked on DUS-AUH on 10th April 2014 (AA award). I called AB to reserve seats directly, being inspired by prior posts showing AA seat reservations would not work.
AB assigned following seats: 4D & 4G.
I now checked my reservation on checkmytrip.com, it has changed to: 1H & 1K.
When checking the lay-out of the new J cabin on 332 aircraft, the seats don't seem to exist.
Can someone help me understand what happened ? Aircraft change to 'old C' ? Anyone have a seatmap of old J ?
Thanks so much
John

That is odd indeed. Row 1 only has A,D,G and K seats - H definitely does not exist.
As far as I know, both older J ("old old", with recliners and 24 seats as well as "new old" with 20 angled-flat seats) has been phased out completely by now, especially on the AUH routes were the first to be on the new product. The only product where 1 HK existed was the "old old" recliner configuration which was yanked out of all aircraft in 2012.

And just on the chance your flight will be operated by EY: Of the two daily DUS-AUH departures, the morning flight is operated by an EY 332. But business class starts at row 5 in these...
I'd get the AB record locator from AA and check on their website, or give AB another call.
