I assume they are retained for Load Control to allocate on the day, possibly earlier? Hopefully prioritised for Elites! I have a WLG-SYD in early May and will report what happens.

Having this problem now, they are trying to charge me for row 4,$30 for a middle seat its now called a "legroom" seat. WTAF
No other seats with legroom available. What a joke.
On the phone to them now,
Gotta love AirNZ and their "enhancements"
Actually no, my flight is this week, supposedly the new seating comes in later, but the way the associate mentioned "legroom" seats is very ominous. Maybe that is why the new post works deluxe product is not on their website yet. They are busy "enhancing" it

I suspect the WD rows will open up one way or another once WD is formally 'retired' from Carina. It's probably a Carina issue where because WD is still available for sale for the next 5-6 weeks, it's blocking the seats because it thinks WD still exists beyond 1st May.

its an "enhancement" to our in flight experience, a different perspective on the flight from further back. So kind of them to broaden our horizons like that.
