Best 787-9 Seat in Business Premier ( Long haul)

Booked myself on a long haul of one of these. The price was eye watering.

Sadly this will be in the next coming months. I am travelling alone.

The census has been on the left side, but where?

( did a search, I'm surprised this topic hasn't been posted)

It has been….. extensively, surprised you cannot find threads.

General preference is for A. More private and less traffic.

My preference is 6 or 7 A.

This assumes 789. But generally for me it is mid-cabin, window side on 77W and A aisle on 789.
Plenty of posts on this……

Back row A is first choice, back row K is second choice

I agree with this. 2A/3A/4A is the sweet spot for me.

My preferred seats:

787 with 18 BP seats - 6A
787 with 27 BP seats - 9A (note that 7A on this aircraft has no windows.

Surprised everyone is picking the back. I avoid the back of the cabin for noise. Its near Premium Economy which is more likely to have babies, and near the bathrooms.

I don't find it noticeable. I have my own noise cancelling headphones plus when I go to sleep I use a pair of ear plugs. The privacy aspect of the back row is what I like.

Ironically I picked 1A for an upcoming JFK-AKL, the space next to me being a draw.

What space next to you?

Being in 01A upside (?) is that you can’t see other pax but they can all see you 😳
Downside is that it is near the galley, and you’ll get the foot traffic to the forward loo.

01A looking to the rear

01A with the bulkhead to your left

01A showing the bulkhead to your left

There's a tiny ledge next to 1A ( very small indeed). I intend to put my man bag on that ledge.

Could not care less about people seeing me. I sleep with an eyemask to so the light from the galley won't be a bother.

The space mentioned is a ventilation entry. They won't let you leave items in that space.
That said I generally take 01A and enjoy that location.
