ZERO redemption availability Sydney-Auckland?

ZERO redemption availability Sydney-Auckland?
Hi everyone,
Looking to redeem some Virgin Atlantic miles for flights between SYD and AKL. I'm using the United tool to try and find availability but there is ZERO availability for redemption for any month in the next year.
Any help?

I'm guessing you searched nonstop as there appears to be availability with stops in economy if you'd like to see Adelaide, Hobart, Wellington etc for a layover??
Cash is the obvious alternative or.. an alternative airline like QF, QR, LA??
It's possible some availability may become available close in. 2023 is quite some time away.
Also, the United/Virgin Australia is still getting up and going. Hopefully Virgin start flying to New Zealand later in the year so that should add to your options.
NZ is typically what I'd call stingy with award release... unless you're flying economy overnight
Hang in there and hopefully something works for you whether that's Air NZ or Virgin Australia etc
