Vanuatu?

With news that Vanuatu is reopening its borders, has there been any talk of flights resuming?
I appreciate they originally stopped due to runway safety concerns, but there’s been upgrading work completed since then.
Keeping my fingers crossed x

My understanding is the runway was upgraded a long time ago. NZ seem to be happy enough for NF to cover it 🤷🏻‍♀️

RNZ (9 Dec 2019)--->Vanuatu airport runway reopens after refurbishment
Over the past three years, the runway has been rebuilt by the China Civil Engineering Construction Company.

That followed complaints from Qantas and Air New Zealand, which both cancelled flights to Port Vila citing unsafe runway conditions. Mr Salwai told the Daily Post his government's priority was to repair the runway to meet international standards, because Port Vila International Airport is the country's gateway to the world. The project received tens of millions of dollars in funding from the World Bank.

Would have been a profitable project
