Interestingly overnight trip to Melbourne this week as well. Normal inflight service and mixed mask use on board.
In terms of COVID, directed to check-in kiosk in AKL and zero interest in my COVID documentation. Tick box declaration during check in process I had all the paperwork. No physical check at any point. Told would be checked in Australia. It wasnt.
Coming back more attentive and paperwork physically checked by ground staff.
